Becoming a veterinarian was a childhood dream for Heidi, and her passion for animals has stayed at the heart of her career. Heidi graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2005 and began her career in rural mixed practice before focusing on small animal medicine.

Heidi and her family moved to Australia in 2022, where she is enjoying continuing her veterinary journey. Heidi joined Burpengary Vet in 2026 as the Lead Veterinarian.

Outside the clinic, she loves spending time with her family, dogs and cat, gardening, and baking.
